Are you saying that if it cut less bad, there would be no geniuses?

I'm not quite clear what this means in reality. It is sometimes said that almost 90% of the music, art, literature in the world is shit. The problem is that 90%? Very often, which was very popular when it first appeared more or less forgotten within a generation later. And sometimes things that (will be missed during his appearance, he was ahead of his time, was popular on the type of song or a style more and more that it was "outdated" by the standards of "time (whatever that is) recognized its earnings later.

In fact, is what a "canon" - the term "eternal" values change frequently generation. Bach has lost its popularity even before Mendelssohn returned to his reputation.

And justice to Salieri, he really made something of a bum rap. In fact, a composer was much better than "Amadeus" take yearsor to believe. There was much annoyed by a gimmick, because it was greatly appreciated in his time.

Do not forget, the mediocrity is so beautiful, so picturesque in its own melodrama.

BTW: Amadeus is one of my favorite movies.

FYI: Mozart had a series of super stuck in his head. :-)
