HELP! The community center for my wedding is ugly! Please give help if you can!? - wedding low ceiling

I'm getting married next year and the only place that our community center holds in the city. It is big enough, but the sucking sound (there are lots of echo), the floor is concrete, the walls are concrete block and the ceiling is very low (I think it can), two meters high. I need help big time! My colors are red, black and white and the room has no windows. There are also lights that are not incorporated into the roof, so they like a sore thumb stick. Any help would be very grateful! Thank you!
